On the 13th of April, 2021, the final year students of the 51²è¹Ýapp, Guyana adjourned to their new journey of learning within the medical program. The students begin their elective clinical rotations at Joseph Mercy Hospital, in Guyana. This clinical rotation, however, featured a little more in-depth study of not just the medical practice but also of the medical etiquettes and proceedings required amidst the recent global pandemic. The willful students of the university energetically commemorated their new stage of learning and attaining the expertise.
The orientation of the new clinical rotating students of the university was led by Dr. Sonia Grey, Dr. Terry and Dr.Stephanie Gittens. The university students will experience working in various departments such as dermatology, Urology, Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine and ENT during this rotation.
